Artist Statement: In 1986 I was severely burned while preparing for my solo exhibition. For the next 4 years I underwent 8 surgeries and was told that I may permanently lose the ability to use my right hand. During those years I thought about death and the life after, which in turn left me with questions of how I came into this life. Ever since, I had been occupied with the cycle of life-our life before this life, the present life and what may happen after, and how our subconscious may hold the memories of everything. My work is an expression of the unrevealed past events and the possible answers to our future that our subconscious may have in store.

or being has it, if not, life is absent. Art needs a soul to be
